About

A little about me

I'm Patricia, and I grew up in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, surrounded by people who taught me to stay curious, work hard and enjoy life along the way.

When it was time to choose what to study, I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do. So I started with what I knew about myself: I loved understanding how things worked, finding solutions, organising ideas and keeping up with technology. Engineering felt like a good place to explore all of that.

I studied Electronics and Automation Engineering, fell in love with automation and went on to complete a Master's in Industrial Engineering. Marketing was also on my mind — I've always had a creative side, with a soft spot for strategy, design and branding. Turns out, those interests weren't as far apart as I thought.

My first professional steps were at two engineering firms in Tenerife. I genuinely enjoyed the work, but I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more out there to discover.

Then Accenture came along with an opportunity in Barcelona. I took it without really knowing what consulting was. A new city, a multinational, big clients and a completely different world. Quite the adventure!

Nine years later, I can say that consulting taught me much more than I expected.

At Zurich Klinc, I discovered digital product, worked with brilliant people and grew from Analyst to Manager in under four years. Later, at Generali, I moved into large-scale transformation, built teams and discovered how much I enjoyed leadership.

There were successes, mistakes, difficult decisions and plenty of moments when I had to figure things out as I went. But one thing stayed constant: the people around me made all the difference. I've always believed that we build better together.

Somewhere along the way, I decided to study Digital Product Management. And that's when something clicked.

I love figuring out what needs to change — and getting involved in making it happen.

Whether it's a product, a process, a project or a way of working, I enjoy understanding the real problem, connecting different perspectives, exploring possibilities and turning ideas into something useful.

I like thinking about the bigger picture, but I also need to be close to the action. And I love doing it with people I can learn from, challenge and help grow.

Outside work, curiosity keeps me busy too. I've tried salsa dancing, CrossFit, scrapbooking, and lately I've been building my own projects and experimenting with AI. I love travelling, meeting new people and going to events that leave me with more questions than answers.

After nine years in consulting, I'm ready for a new chapter. One where I can bring everything I've learned closer to the business, take greater ownership and keep building, improving and learning alongside good people.

Because if there's one thing I've learned, it's that you don't need to have everything figured out to get somewhere interesting.

How I think

  1. 01

Build capabilities that scale, not one-off solutions.

Every solution is a chance to make the next one easier. At Klinc, we built different digital insurance journeys on shared technology, reusing what worked instead of starting from scratch with every new product. At Generali, the AI agents I built became templates for other teams.

  2. 02

Use data to inform decisions, not replace judgment.

Data tells part of the story. Context tells the rest. At Generali, UAT results, launch risks and agent readiness helped me make the case for moving the Household launch from July to September.

  3. 03

Separate what I know from what I assume.

A proposed solution is a hypothesis until it's tested. At YOS, I distinguished what we'd validated hands-on from what vendor documentation claimed, before recommending a direction.

  4. 04

    Progress beats waiting for perfect.

Real projects come with constraints. At Klinc Motor, when the core platform couldn't price three packages in a single call, we chose a controlled workaround to protect the launch, without losing sight of the right long-term solution.

  5. 05

    We build better together.

Good work happens when people have clarity, trust and room to grow. At Generali, I helped teams surface difficult issues, align on priorities and turn problems into decisions, not just status reports.
