Programmes at scale
Support Generali España's digital transformation, from governance to launching products on a new core platform, aligned across the Group's countries.
Governed 7 transformation programmes, supported cross-country convergence on the core platform programme, coordinated a post-merger integration stream, and managed Accenture's account and its team of 16 people.
Household live on the new core in ~10 months, and the integration stream delivered in under a year, with every deadline met.

Generali España was in the middle of a multi-year digital transformation, with Insurance in a Box at its core: the migration of the entire insurance core (Motor, P&C, commercial lines and Life) from a legacy system to the RGI PASS platform. Spain was the Group's front-runner market alongside Switzerland, and the reference model for later rollouts in Portugal, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.
Two Group principles shaped every decision: convergence, building common solutions across countries, and out-of-the-box adoption, using the platform as it comes rather than customising it. All work with the Group and international vendors ran entirely in English.
In parallel to every role in the programme, I managed Accenture's Generali account and all the Accenture people working on it, a responsibility usually held by more senior profiles. That meant the client relationship, staffing and growing the team from 6 to 16 people, billing, contracts, rate negotiation and building the commercial case for each new role.

Head of Digital Transformation Office
Generali España · Accenture client · March 2023 – March 2025
Generali España was running several transformation tracks at the same time, from the core insurance platform to CRM, finance, data and end-user services, aligned with the Group across Spain, Portugal and Switzerland. There was no common way to plan, track or escalate across them.
Head of the Digital Transformation Office, reporting to the General Management and the Executive Committee.
I built the governance model from scratch: a monthly, weekly and daily cadence with clear owners and roles; annual planning templates for each track, defining every initiative, its objectives and how success would be measured; a tracking model to see at a glance which initiatives were on or off course; and clear criteria for when to escalate a decision to the C-level. I designed a two-level structure that separated local operational initiatives from the strategic plan, so each got the right level of governance and leadership attention. Alongside it, I prioritised the portfolio by impact, cost, risk and execution capacity, and produced the executive reporting for leadership.

A five-person Transformation Office, two of them from Generali, at the centre of a clear governance structure: executive sponsors for the transformation, an owner for each track, and an owner for every workstream, each with defined responsibilities in the governance forums.
The governance model became the standard for every transformation track.
